How Do You Morph Animals in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 12:40 pm

In order to morph animals in Photoshop, you’ll need to use the Liquify tool. With the Liquify tool, you can push, pull, rotate, and warp your image as if it were made of putty or jelly. This makes it easy to create smooth, organic-looking distortions.

To start, open your image in Photoshop and go to the Filter menu. Choose Liquify from the list of filter options.

PRO TIP: This note is to warn you about the possible dangers of using Photoshop to morph animals. While it may be tempting to use this software to create new and unique creatures, it is important to be aware of the risks involved. There is a chance that your creations could escape into the wild and cause havoc, or that they could end up in the wrong hands and be used for evil purposes. Use Photoshop responsibly, and only create animals that you would be happy to see in the world.

This will open the Liquify dialog box. In the dialog box, you’ll see a number of different tools that you can use to distort your image. The Forward Warp tool is the one you’ll want to use for most animal morphs.

To use the Forward Warp tool, simply click and drag on the area of the image that you want to distort. As you drag, you’ll see the area warping and stretching. You can use this tool to make subtle or drastic changes, depending on how much you move your mouse.

When you’re happy with the results, click OK in the Liquify dialog box to apply the changes to your image. And that’s all there is to morphing animals in Photoshop!
