There are a few different ways that you can move an object freely in Photoshop. The first way is to use the move tool.
With the move tool selected, click on the object that you want to move. Then, click and drag the object to the desired location. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to nudge the object in small increments.
Another way to move an object freely is to use the Transform command. To do this, select the object that you want to move, then go to Edit > Transform > Free Transform. This will bring up a bounding box around the object.
Click and drag on any of the handles to move the object. You can also use the arrow keys to nudge it in small increments. If you want to constrain the movement to one axis, hold down the Shift key while you click and drag.
You can also use Photoshop’s Selection tools to move an object freely. For example, if you have an object selected with the Rectangular Marquee tool, you can click and drag inside of the selection to move it around. With other Selection tools, like the Lasso tool, you can click and drag around the perimeter of the selection to move it.
