Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration. It’s a great tool for working on user interfaces, web apps, and iconography. And it’s free to use!
So how do you navigate through a Figma?
The first thing you need to do is create a Figma account. You can do this by going to the Figma website and clicking on the “Sign Up” button. Once you have created your account, you will be able to log in and start using Figma.
Once you are logged in, you will see the Figma interface. The interface is divided into three main sections: the canvas, the toolbar, and the layers panel.
The Canvas
The canvas is where you will do most of your work in Figma. This is where you will design your user interface, create your prototypes, and add your assets.
– Doing so could result in getting lost and/or stuck.
The Toolbar
The toolbar is located at the top of the Figma interface. This is where you will find all of the tools you need to design your user interface. From here, you can select shapes, draw lines, add text, and more.
The Layers Panel
The layers panel is located on the right side of the Figma interface. This is where you will manage all of the elements in your design. You can create new layers, rename existing layers, change their order, and more.
Now that you know the basics of how to navigate Figma, try it out for yourself and see what you can create!
