How Do You Proportionally Resize an Object in Photoshop?

In Photoshop, you can resize an object in several ways. To change the size of an object by a specific amount, you can use the “transform” tool. To proportionally resize an object, you can use the “scale” tool.

PRO TIP: When resizing an object in Photoshop, be aware that the object will be resized proportionally. This means that the width and height of the object will change at the same rate.

To resize an object by a specific amount, select the “transform” tool from the toolbar. Then, click on the object you want to resize. To change the size of the object, click and drag one of the handles on the bounding box.

To proportionally resize an object, select the “scale” tool from the toolbar. To change the size of the object, click and drag one of the handles on the bounding box while holding down the Shift key.
