If you’ve ever looked for a freelancer to help with a project, you’ve probably heard of Fiverr. Fiverr is a marketplace where freelancers can offer their services for “gigs” that start at just $5. That’s right, $5!
So, how do you publish a gig on Fiverr? It’s actually pretty simple. Just follow these steps:

Secondly, be aware of the potential scams that can occur on the platform. Finally, take the time to read over the reviews of other users before deciding to work with them.
- Create an account. You’ll need to create a Fiverr account before you can publish a gig. Just go to Fiverr.com and click the “Sign Up” button in the top right-hand corner of the page. Fill out the form and click “Continue. “
- Activate your account. Once you create your account, you’ll receive an activation email from Fiverr. Click the link in that email to activate your account.
- Create your gig. Now it’s time to create your gig! Start by clicking the “Sell” link at the top of the page. Then, click the “Start Selling” button. On the next page, you’ll need to select a category and subcategory for your gig, and then enter a title and description. Be sure to include all of the important details about what you’re offering.
- Add images and video.
Adding images and/or video to your gig can make it more attractive to buyers, so be sure to add some if you have them. To add images, click the “Add Images” button on the left-hand side of the screen. You can then upload up to 3 images from your computer. To add video, scroll down to the “Video” section and enter a URL for a video that showcases your gig. - Set your price and delivery time. In the “Pricing” section, you’ll need to set a price for your gig and specify how long it will take you to deliver it. Remember, gigs on Fiverr start at just $5, so don’t price yourself out of the market! Once you’ve set your price and delivery time, click the “Continue” button.
- Select optional features. On the next page, you’ll have the opportunity to select some optional features for your gig, such as extra fast delivery or multiple revisions. These features will cost extra, so only select them if you think they’re necessary.
- Publish your gig. Once you’ve completed all of the steps above, it’s time to publish your gig! Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Publish Gig” button.
Note: You may be asked to verify your identity before publishing your first gig.
