Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 1:05 am

In Photoshop, you can rotate an image by going to the “Edit” menu and selecting “Transform.” Then, choose “Rotate.” You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+T (Windows) or Command+T (Mac) to access the Transform tool.

Once you’ve accessed the Transform tool, you’ll see a small circular icon in the center of your image. This is the rotation handle.

To rotate your image, click and drag this handle. As you drag, you’ll see a preview of how your image will look when rotated.

If you want to rotate your image by a specific amount, you can do so by entering a value in the “Angle” field. This field is located above the Transform tool options in the Options Bar.

By default, the value is set to “0 degrees.” To rotate your image clockwise, enter a positive value (e.g., 45 degrees). To rotate your image counterclockwise, enter a negative value (e., -45 degrees).

Once you’re happy with how your image looks, click the checkmark in the Options Bar to apply the transformation. Alternatively, you can press Enter (Windows) or Return (Mac) on your keyboard.
