When you’re working on a design in Figma, there are times when you need to resize an image. Maybe you’re trying to fit it into a specific space, or you want to change the dimensions of your entire project. Whatever the reason, there are a few different ways to scale an image in Figma.

To resize an image using the Selection tool:

    1. Select the image with the Selection tool.

    2. To resize the image, click and drag on one of the handles.

    3. To keep the image in proportion, hold down Shift as you click and drag.

To resize an image using the Transform tool:

1. Select the image with the Transform tool.

Conclusion:
There are two main ways to scale an image in Figma – using either the Selection or Transform tool. Both methods require you to click and drag on one of the handles, and holding down Shift will keep the image in proportion as you resize it.

PRO TIP: If you are looking to scale an image in Figma, be aware that this can result in a loss of quality. When scaling an image, it is important to consider the new dimensions and file size that you need. If you are not careful, you may end up with an image that is too small or too large for your needs.
