There are a few different ways to scale an image in Photoshop. You can use the Free Transform tool, which is the easiest way, or you can use the Image Size dialog box.

The Free Transform tool is located in the Edit menu. To use it, simply select the layer you want to scale, then click Edit > Free Transform.

A bounding box will appear around your layer. You can then click and drag one of the handles to resize your layer. To constrain the proportions of your layer, hold down the Shift key while you drag a handle.

The Image Size dialog box is located in the Image menu. To use it, select your layer, then click Image > Image Size.

In the dialog box that appears, you can enter new values for Width and Height. Photoshop will automatically constrain the proportions of your layer when you enter a new value for one of these options.

You can also use the Scale command, which is located in the Edit menu. To use it, select your layer and click Edit > Scale. Unlike the Free Transform tool, the Scale command doesn’t constrain proportions by default, so you’ll need to hold down the Shift key while you drag a handle if you want to do that.

The last way to scale an image is to use the Crop tool. To use it, select your layer and click Crop in the toolbar.

Then, click and drag one of the handles to resize your layer. As with the other methods, you can hold down the Shift key to constrain proportions if you want to.

So those are a few different ways to scale an image in Photoshop!

PRO TIP: How Do You Scale an Image in Photoshop?

When you scale an image in Photoshop, you are essentially changing its size. This can be done by resizing the image itself, or by changing the resolution. The resolution is the number of pixels per inch (ppi) in the image, and is measured in dpi (dots per inch). If you change the resolution without changing the actual size of the image, you will see a change in the quality of the image. For example, if you reduce the resolution, the image will become pixelated and blurry.

In conclusion, there are many different ways that you can scale an image in Photoshop depending on what look you are going for with your project.
