There are a few different ways that you can select objects in Figma. The first way is to click on the object with your mouse. This will select the object and any other objects that are attached to it.

If you want to select multiple objects, you can hold down the Shift key and click on each object that you want to select. Alternatively, you can click and drag your mouse to draw a selection box around the objects that you want to select.

Another way to select objects is to use the Select tool. This can be found in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Once you have selected the Select tool, you can click on any object to select it.

You can also click and drag your mouse to draw a selection box around multiple objects. If you want to add more objects to your selection, you can hold down the Shift key and click on each additional object. To remove an object from your selection, you can hold down the Alt key and click on the object.

PRO TIP: When selecting objects in Figma, be careful not to select too many objects at once. Doing so can cause Figma to crash or freeze. If you do need to select a large number of objects, try doing so in smaller groups.

If you need to select a large number of objects, or if you need to select all of the objects on a layer, you can use the Layers panel. First, make sure that the layer that contains the objects is selected in the Layers panel.

Then, click on the icon next to the layer name. This will select all of the objects on that layer. To deselect all of the objects, simply click on the icon again.

Conclusion:

There are a few different ways that you can select objects in Figma.

Alternatively, you can use the Select tool. If you need to select a large number of objects, or if you need to select all of the objects on a layer, you can use the Layers panel.
