How Do You Set a Timer in Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 7:04 pm

You can set a timer in Canva by opening the Timer tool from the left side menu. Once the Timer tool is open, you can set the desired time by clicking on the “Set” button.

After setting the time, you can start the timer by clicking on the “Start” button. The timer will automatically stop when the time is up.

PRO TIP: Note: This process only works for the desktop version of Canva.

1. Go to canva.com and sign in.

2. Click on the “Create a design” button.

3. Select the “Custom dimensions” option.

4. Enter your desired width and height (in pixels) in the corresponding fields, then click on the “Create new design” button.

5. A blank canvas will now open up. On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll see a variety of tools that you can use to design your image.

6. To set a timer, click on the “Text” tool and then click on the “Add heading” button.

7. A text box will appear. Enter the text that you want to appear on your timer into this box, then click on the “Done” button.

8. To format your text, use the options that appear above the text box (such as font size, color, etc.).

9. Once you’re happy with your text, click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the screen and select the “PNG” option.

You can use the Timer tool to keep track of how long you’ve been working on a design, or to make sure you don’t spend too much time on one particular element. The Timer tool is also great for those who want to stay focused while working on their designs.

To use the Timer tool:

  1. Open the Timer tool from the left side menu.
  2. Set the desired time by clicking on the “Set” button.
  3. Start the timer by clicking on the “Start” button.

The timer will automatically stop when the time is up.

When you’re finished using the Timer tool, be sure to click on the “Stop” button to reset it.
