If you’re a web designer, then you’re probably familiar with the grid system. Grids are a great way to keep your design organized and consistent.
But what if you’re not a web designer? What if you’re just getting started with Figma?
Don’t worry! Setting grids in Figma is easy, and we’ll walk you through the process step-by-step. First, open up your Figma file and select the frame that you want to add a grid to.
Then, click on the “Layout” tab in the upper left-hand corner of the interface. You should see a grid icon appear in the toolbar. Click on that icon.
A pop-up window will appear with a number of options for customizing your grid. You can choose the number of columns, the gutter width, and even the alignment of your grid. Once you’ve made your selections, click “Apply” to add the grid to your frame.
Now that your grid is in place, you can start adding content to it. To do so, simply click and drag elements from the left-hand panel onto your grid.
You can also use the “Sticky” tool to make sure that elements stay aligned to the grid as you move them around. And that’s all there is to it!
