When you’re ready to start using Figma Mirror, there are a few things you need to do first:

1. Download and install the Figma Mirror app

The first step is to download the Figma Mirror app from the App Store or Google Play. Once it’s installed, open the app and sign in with your Figma account.

2. Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer

Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. This is necessary for the app to communicate with Figma on your computer.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on using Figma Mirror to view your designs on your mobile device, be aware that there are some potential risks. First and foremost, Figma Mirror is a beta product, which means that it may contain bugs that could potentially cause problems with your designs. Additionally, Figma Mirror requires access to your device’s camera and microphone in order to function properly, so be sure to only use it on devices that you trust. Finally, keep in mind that Figma Mirror is designed for use with the Figma desktop app, so it is not compatible with other design tools.

3. Enable Mirroring in Figma

Once you’re signed in, open the file you want to mirror in Figma. Then, go to View > Plugins > Mirror.

This will open the Mirror plugin, which has a few options for how you want to mirror your file.

Choose Local Network, which will allow you to mirror your file on any device that’s connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

4. StartMirroring

After you’ve selected Local Network, click Start Mirroring. This will start the mirroring process and display a QR code on your screen.

5. Scan the QR code with your device

Open the Figma Mirror app on your device and tap Scan QR code.
Then, hold your device up to your computer’s screen so that the QR code is visible. Once it’s been scanned,Figma Mirror will start displaying your file on your device.
