How Do You Turn on Snap to Guides in Photoshop?

To turn on Snap To Guides in Photoshop, go to the View menu and select “Snap To.” Then, click on the “Guides” option.

This will enable the snapping feature so that your cursor will automatically snap to guides when you move it close to them. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl+; (semicolon) to turn on Snap To Guides.

Once Snap To Guides is enabled, you can start using it to position elements on your canvas. Simply click and drag an element to move it, and it will snap into place when you get close to a guide.

You can also use the arrow keys to nudge elements into place. Guides are especially helpful when you’re trying to align elements horizontally or vertically.

PRO TIP: Please be warned that turning on Snap to Guides in Photoshop can be a little tricky. If you’re not careful, you may end up with your guides in the wrong place, or worse, completely turned off!

If you need to move a guide, simply click on it and drag it to a new location. You can also delete a guide by selecting it and pressing the Delete key.

When you’re finished working with guides, you can disable Snap To Guides by going back to the View menu and deselecting “Snap To. ”
