There are several ways to type special characters in Photoshop. One way is to use the Character Map tool. This tool can be found in the Windows Start menu under Programs > Accessories > System Tools. Once you have launched the Character Map tool, select the font you want to use from the drop-down menu at the top.

Then, scroll through the character grid until you find the special character you want to use. When you find it, click on it and then click the Select button. Finally, click the Copy button and then paste the character into Photoshop.

Another way to type special characters in Photoshop is to use the Alt code method. To do this, hold down the Alt key on your keyboard and type in the four-digit code for the character you want to use.

For example, to type an é, you would hold down Alt and type 0233 on your numeric keypad (if you don’t have a numeric keypad, you can enable it by holding down the Fn key while pressing Num Lock).

PRO TIP: Special characters in Photoshop can be created using the “Character Map” tool. However, if you are not familiar with this tool, it is easy to create incorrect characters. Be careful when using the Character Map tool, as incorrect characters can cause problems with your document.

You can also use special characters in Photoshop by installing a custom font that includes them. To do this, first download a font that includes the special characters you want to use. Then, open the Fonts folder (you can find it by going to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts).

Next, drag and drop the new font file into this folder. Finally, restart Photoshop and you’ll be able to select the new font from the drop-down menu in the Character Map tool or from the Font menu in Photoshop.

Conclusion: So there you have it! Three different ways that you can type special characters in Photoshop.
