How Do You Upload a Word Document to Weebly?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 5:45 pm

There are a few different ways that you can go about uploading a Word document to Weebly. The first way is to simply drag and drop the file into the editor.

Weebly will automatically detect that it is a Word document and give you the option to edit it within the editor or convert it to HTML. If you choose to convert it to HTML, Weebly will give you a warning that some formatting may be lost in the process.

The second way to upload a Word document is to use the “Add Files” button in the editor. This will bring up a dialog box where you can select your file from your computer.

Once you have selected the file, click “Open” and it will be added to your site. Again, Weebly will automatically detect that it is a Word document and give you the option to edit it within the editor or convert it to HTML.

PRO TIP: Weebly is a website builder and hosting company. It is not a word processing application. You cannot upload a Word document to Weebly.

If you choose to edit your Word document within the Weebly editor, you will see that all of the standardWord formatting options are available to you. You can bold, italicize, underline, and change the font size and color of your text just as you would in any other word processing program. In addition, you can also add links, images, and other media to your document.

Once you have finished editing your document, click “Save” and it will be saved on your Weebly site. If you need to make any further changes, simply click “Edit” and make your changes. When you are finished, click “Save” again.

Conclusion:

There are two ways that you can upload a Word document onto Weebly – either by drag and drop or using the “Add Files” button. If you choose to edit your Word document within Weebly’s editor, you will have access to all of the standard Word formatting options as well as additional features such as adding links and media.
