If you’re not familiar with Canva, it’s a user-friendly online design tool that anyone can use to create beautiful designs. You don’t need any design experience or software to download – all you need is an internet connection and a Canva account, which you can create for free.
There are two ways to use Canva: through the website (www.canva.com) or through the mobile app (available for iOS and Android). We’ll show you how to use both versions so that you can decide which one works best for you.
How to Use Canva on the Website
Creating an account on Canva is quick and easy. Just go to www.com and click on “Create a design” in the top-right corner. You’ll be prompted to either sign in or sign up.
If you already have a Canva account, just sign in with your email address and password. If you don’t have an account yet, click on “Sign up with email” and enter your name, email address, and password. Once you have an account, you can start creating designs right away!
Creating a Design
Once you’re signed in, you’ll be taken to the editor where you can start creating your design. The first thing you need to do is choose a template.
Canva has thousands of templates for every occasion, so finding one that fits your needs shouldn’t be a problem. If you can’t find a template that suits your needs, you can also create a custom dimensions design by clicking on “Custom Dimensions” in the top-left corner of the editor.
After choosing a template (or creating a custom dimensions design), you can start adding elements to your design. To do this, click on the “Elements” tab in the left sidebar and browse through the available elements.
When you find one that you want to use, just drag-and-drop it onto your design canvas. You can also upload your own images by clicking on the “Uploads” tab in the left sidebar and uploading images from your computer. Once you have all of the elements that you want in your design, it’s time to start customizing them!
Customizing Elements
To customize an element, simply click on it and a toolbar will appear above it with all of the available customization options. For instance, if you click on a text element, you can change the font, color, size, alignment, and more.
If you click on an image element, you can crop it, add filters, adjust brightness and contrast, etc. Experiment with different customization options until you get the results that you want!
When you’re happy with your design and everything is in its rightful place, it’s time to save and share your work of art! Just click on the “Save & Share” button in the top-right corner of the editor and choose how you want to share your design: download it as an image file (JPG or PNG), share it via social media (Facebook or Twitter), or get a link that you can share with others so they can view or download your design too.
