How Do You Use Code Editor on Weebly?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 4:34 pm

A code editor is a text editor with additional features designed for writing and editing code. Weebly has its own code editor that can be used to make changes to the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript of your website. In this article, we’ll show you how to use the Weebly code editor.

To access the code editor, go to the Weebly Editor and click on the “Code” tab.

PRO TIP: Weebly is a popular website builder that allows users to create and edit their own websites. However, Weebly does not have a built-in code editor. This means that if you want to edit your website’s code, you will need to use an external code editor.

There are a few things to keep in mind when using an external code editor with Weebly:

1. Make sure you are using a compatible code editor. Weebly supports a wide range of code editors, but not all of them will work with Weebly. Be sure to check the list of supported code editors on Weebly’s website before choosing one.

2. Follow the instructions for setting up your code editor. Weebly has specific instructions for each supported code editor. These instructions can be found on the Weebly website or in the documentation for your chosen code editor.

3. Be careful when editing your code. It is easy to accidentally break your website when editing the code. If you are not sure what you are doing, it is best to ask for help from someone who is more experienced.

Once you’re in the code editor, you can make changes to your website’s HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. To save your changes, click on the “Save” button.

To preview your changes, click on the “Preview” button.

That’s all there is to using the Weebly code editor! With it, you can make changes to your website’s code and see those changes reflected in the live preview.
