How Do You Use Filters in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:51 am

When you apply a filter to an object in Figma, it changes the appearance of that object according to the filter settings. For example, you can use filters to blur an object, or to change its color.

To apply a filter to an object:

1. Select the object. 2. Click the Filters icon in the Inspector panel (on the right). 3.

Choose a filter from the list. 4. Adjust the settings for the filter, if necessary. 5. Click Apply to save your changes.

You can also add multiple filters to an object, and change the order in which they’re applied. To do this:

1. Follow steps 1-3 above to add a first filter to an object. Click + Add Filter in the Inspector panel, and choose another filter from the list.

Adjust the settings for this second filter, if necessary. Repeat steps 2-3 until you’ve added all the filters you want to apply to the object. To change the order in which filters are applied, click and drag a filter up or down in the list in the Inspector panel. Note that changing the order of filters can sometimes change how an object looks.
