How Do You Use Rollover Image Effects on Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:55 am

There are a number of different ways that you can use rollover image effects on Wix. One way is to use them to create a slideshow or gallery of images.

You can also use them to create an image map, which can be used to navigate around a website or to provide information about different areas of an image. Finally, you can use rollover image effects to create links between different pages on a website.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

To create a slideshow or gallery of images, you first need to select the images that you want to include. You can either upload your own images, or you can select from the many free images that are available on Wix.

PRO TIP: This article is outdated and no longer relevant. Wix has since changed their platform and no longer offers the rollover image effect feature.

Once you have selected your images, click on the “Create Slideshow” button. This will open up a new window where you can select how many images you want to include in your slideshow, and how long each image should be displayed for. You can also choose whether or not to include captions for each image.

To create an image map, click on the “Create Image Map” button. This will open up a new window where you can select the image that you want to use.

You will then need to click on the different areas of the image that you want to link to different pages. For each area that you click on, you will need to enter the URL of the page that you want to link to.

Finally, if you want to create links between different pages on a website, you can do so by using rollover image effects. To do this, simply select the image that you want to use as a link and then enter the URL of the page that you want to link to in the “Link” field.
