There are a few different ways that you can use textured text in Photoshop. You can either use a layer style, or you can use a clipping mask.

If you want to use a layer style, then you will need to create a new layer. Once you have done this, select the layer that you want to use the layer style on.

Then, go to the ‘Layer’ menu and select ‘Layer Style’. A window will pop up and from here, select ‘Texture’.

PRO TIP: When using textured text in Photoshop, it is important to be aware of the potential for creating visual clutter. Too much texture can make your text difficult to read, so use it sparingly. If you are unsure about how to use texture effectively, consider seeking advice from a professional graphic designer.

Another way that you can use textured text in Photoshop is by using a clipping mask. To do this, create a new layer and then add your text.

Once you have done this, select the ‘Layer’ menu and then select ‘Create Clipping Mask’. This will clip the text to the layer below it.

Textured text can add an interesting element to your design. By using either a layer style or a clipping mask, you can easily create textured text in Photoshop.
