How Does Delivery Work on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:27 pm

When you place an order on Fiverr, you’re actually placing an order for a “gig”. This is a specific service that a freelancer offers.

For example, someone might offer to write an article for $5, or design a logo for $5. Once you place your order, the freelancer has 14 days to complete it and deliver it to you. If they don’t deliver it within that time frame, you can cancel the order and get a refund.

If the freelancer does deliver the gig within the time frame, you have 3 days to request revisions. After that, the order is considered complete and you will be charged. Once you’re charged, the freelancer gets paid.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Fiverr is a marketplace where services are offered for $5.00. These services are provided by freelancers who create gigs, or services, and offer them for sale on the Fiverr platform. When you purchase a gig, you are purchasing the time of the freelancer who created it.

It’s important to note that when you place an order on Fiverr, you’re not actually paying for the gig itself. You’re just paying for the right to have that gig delivered to you. The freelancer doesn’t get paid until after they deliver the gig and you approve it.
