How is Linode billed?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 1:01 pm

Linode bills customers in two ways: per hour and by the month. Customers are charged an hourly rate for each Linode account, with discounts available for longer-term billing.

Customers are also billed monthly in arrears, starting one month before the month in which the service is used.

PRO TIP: Linode may bill customers for services provided in advance. This means that if you terminate your service before the end of the billing period, you may still be charged for the full period. Be sure to check with Linode customer service to find out how billing works before signing up for service.

Linode’s billing system is designed to ensure that customers always have a full understanding of their account status. Customers can view their account summary and history at any time, as well as review their current bill.

Linode also offers a variety of payment options, including credit card, PayPal, and BitPay.
