How Many Fonts Are There in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:55 pm

There are currently 563 fonts in Figma. Of these, 398 are available to everyone, while the other 165 are available to Pro users only. In addition to these 563 fonts, there are also 11 hand-drawn fonts that can be used for free.

While 563 fonts may seem like a lot, it’s actually a relatively small number compared to the total number of fonts available. There are currently over 600,000 different fonts available for use, which means that Figma only has a little over 0.1% of all fonts.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you could end up with too many fonts in your Figma file. This can lead to decreased performance and instability. Be selective when choosing fonts for your project and only use the ones that are absolutely necessary.

However, despite having such a small selection of fonts, Figma still manages to offer a wide variety of different options. This is because they offer multiple different ways to filter and search for fonts.

For example, you can search for fonts by their name, by their style, or by their designer.

In addition to this, Figma also offers a wide variety of different ways to customize your text. For example, you can change the color of your text, the opacity of your text, the font size, the line height, and even the letter spacing. This means that you can really make your text stand out and look exactly the way you want it to.

As of now, there are 563 fonts in Figma- 398 of which are available to everyone while 165 are exclusive for Pro users. Despite having such a limited collection relative to what is out there, Figma still offers a wide variety of choice through various filters and customization features.
