How Many Times Can You Extend a Squarespace Trial?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:28 am

You can extend a Squarespace trial an unlimited number of times. However, each time you do, the trial period will be reset to 14 days.

So if you’ve already used up your 14 days and you extend your trial, you’ll have 14 more days to use Squarespace.

PRO TIP: If you extend your Squarespace trial more than once, your credit card will be charged for the full price of the plan you select. If you cancel your trial before the end of the trial period, you will not be charged.

There are a few things to keep in mind if you’re thinking of extending your Squarespace trial:

  • You can only have one active trial at a time. If you start a new trial before your current one expires, the new trial will replace the old one. You won’t be able to stack multiple trials on top of each other.
  • You can’t extend a trial that’s about to expire. If your trial is set to expire in the next few days, you won’t be able to extend it.

You’ll need to wait until after your trial expires to start a new one.

  • You can’t extend a paid subscription. If you’ve already upgraded to a paid subscription, you won’t be able to start a new trial. You can, however, downgrade your subscription to a free trial.

In short, extending a Squarespace trial is a great way to get some extra time to try out the platform. Just keep in mind that you can only have one active trial at a time, and you can’t extend a trial that’s about to expire.
