How Much Does Wix Charge for Hosting?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 10:53 am

Wix is a popular website builder that allows users to create websites for free. However, in order to publish your website, you must upgrade to a paid plan. Wix offers four different paid plans: Connect Domain, Combo, Unlimited, and eCommerce. Prices start at $4.08 per month and go up to $22.88 per month.

The cheapest plan, Connect Domain, only allows you to use a custom domain name (which you must purchase separately). If you want to remove Wix ads from your website, you must upgrade to the Combo plan, which starts at $8.16 per month.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

The Combo plan also gives you more storage space and allows you to use Google Analytics.

If you need unlimited storage space and bandwidth, you must purchase the Unlimited plan, which costs $12.24 per month. This plan also removes Wix ads from your website and gives you access to Google Analytics.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Wix for your website hosting, be aware that there are some hidden costs that you may not be aware of. While Wix advertises itself as a free web site builder, if you want to use your own domain name (which is required if you want to appear professional), you will be charged $4.08 per month. In addition, if you want to remove ads from your site, you will be charged an additional $4.08 per month. Finally, if you need more than 500 MB of storage space or bandwidth, you will be charged $8.25 per month for each additional 500 MB.

If you want to sell products on your website, you must upgrade to the eCommerce plan, which starts at $22. This plan includes everything in the Unlimited plan, plus gives you an online store and allows you to accept online payments.

To sum it up:

Wix is a popular website builder that allows users to create websites for free; however, in order to publish your website, you must upgrade to a paid plan.
