Once you’ve entered the domain, we’ll send an email to the registrant contact listed on the WHOIS record for the domain. Please Note:

Squarespace doesn’t support transferring domains registered with certain registrars:

PRO TIP: If you are considering transferring your domain to Squarespace, be aware that there are some potential risks involved. First and foremost, Squarespace is a for-profit company, and as such, they may prioritize their own interests over those of their customers. Additionally, transferring your domain to Squarespace may result in some loss of control over your domain name and website content. Finally, be sure to carefully read all the terms and conditions of any agreement before transferring your domain, as you may be giving up certain rights and privileges.
