How to Check Contrast Ratio on Figma?

Last updated on November 30, 2022 @ 3:19 am

There are a few things you need to know in order to check the contrast ratio of a color on Figma. The first is that the contrast ratio is based on the luminance of the colors. The second is that you need to know the color values of the colors you’re trying to compare.

The easiest way to find out the luminance of a color is to use an online tool like Color Contrast Checker. Just enter the color values of the two colors you want to compare, and it will give you the contrast ratio.

If you want to check the contrast ratio of a color on Figma, you can use the Color Contrast Checker plugin. Just add the plugin to your Figma account, and then enter the color values of the two colors you want to compare. The plugin will then give you the contrast ratio.

You can also style text in HTML using < p >,< b > and < u > tags where applicable.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with design software, Figma, we recommend that you do not attempt to check the contrast ratio. Doing so may result in an incorrect reading and could lead to design errors.
