WooCommerce is a great eCommerce platform for WordPress. It is feature-rich and flexible, making it a great choice for online stores of all sizes. One of the great things about WooCommerce is that it allows you to add custom fields to products. This can be very useful if you need to add extra data to products that is not already available in WooCommerce.

In this article, we will show you how to duplicate a WooCommerce product attribute to a custom field.

This can be useful if you want to use an existing product attribute in a custom way or if you want to create a new product attribute that is similar to an existing one.

First thing you need to do is install and activate the Duplicate Attribute plugin.

Once the plugin is activated, go to WooCommerce > Attributes. On the attributes page, you will see a list of all the default and custom product attributes that have been created in your WooCommerce store.

To duplicate an attribute, simply hover over the attribute that you want to duplicate and click on the Duplicate link. This will open up a popup window where you can enter the new attribute details.

In the popup window, you need to enter the following details:

  1. Name: Enter a name for the new attribute.
  2. Slug: Enter a slug for the new attribute.
  3. Type: Select the type of attribute from the dropdown menu.

Once you have entered all the details, click on the Duplicate Attribute button to save your changes. The new attribute will now be listed on the attributes page.

The Duplicate Attribute plugin makes it easy to duplicate an existing WooCommerce product attribute to a custom field. This can be useful if you want to use an existing product attribute in a custom way or if you want to create a new product attribute that is similar to an existing one.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on duplicating a WooCommerce product attribute to a custom field, be aware that this process is not reversible. Once you have duplicated the attribute, you will not be able to undo the changes.
