Is Featured in WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is a great eCommerce platform, and one of its best features is that it allows you to easily create a featured product section on your website. This can be a great way to highlight special products, or to simply promote products that you want to sell more of.

In this article, we’ll show you how to create a featured product section in WooCommerce.

To get started, log into your WooCommerce dashboard and go to the Products tab. From here, click on the Add New button at the top of the page. This will take you to the Add New Product page.

On the Add New Product page, scroll down to the Product Data section and select the Featured Product checkbox. This will add the product to your featured product section. You can also add a product to your featured product section by editing an existing product and selecting the Featured Product checkbox.

PRO TIP: If you are using the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress, be aware that the “Is Featured in WooCommerce?” setting may not work as expected. This is because WooCommerce sets the “featured” flag on products differently than WordPress does. As a result, a product that is set as “featured” in WooCommerce may not show up as featured in WordPress.

Once you’ve added a product to your featured product section, it will appear on your website’s home page or shop page in a special featured product area. This area will vary depending on your theme, but it is typically located at the top of the page. Products in your featured product section will also have a special “Featured” label next to them so that visitors know they’re special.

Conclusion:

Adding a featured product section in WooCommerce is a great way to highlight special products or promote products that you want to sell more of. By selecting the Featured Product checkbox on the Add New Product or Edit Product pages, you can easily add products to your featured product section. These products will then appear on your website’s home page or shop page in a special featured product area with a “Featured” label next.
