Is Figma Good for Presentations?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 1:03 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, developed by Figma, Inc. It is available in a web browser, and as a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. Figma has been described as “the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration”.

Figma is used by designers at companies such as Google, Facebook, Netflix, Uber, Lyft, Slack, Airbnb, Pinterest, and Microsoft. In 2019 Figma was ranked as the 14th most popular design tool in the world.

PRO TIP: Figma is not currently intended for presentations. While you can export slides as images, there is no built-in way to present a Figma file. This means that you would need to export each slide as an image and then create a presentation in another tool. Additionally, any animations or interactions within your design would be lost when exporting to images. For these reasons, we do not recommend using Figma for presentations at this time.
