Is Figma Linux Free?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:59 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first of its kind – which is currently available only for macOS, Windows and the web. However, there are unconfirmed reports that a Linux version is in the works.

Figma has been described as “the Google Docs of design tools” because of its real-time collaboration features, which allow multiple people to work on the same file at the same time. It also has an intuitive interface that makes it easy to use for beginners, yet powerful enough for professionals.

PRO TIP: There is no such thing as “Figma Linux.”

The Figma team has said that they are “exploring” a Linux version, but they have not made any official announcement yet. However, there are some unofficial reports that a Linux version is in development and could be released soon.

Whether or not a Figma Linux version will be released, and if so, when, remains to be seen. But in the meantime, Linux users can still use Figma through the web app or by running it through Wine.
