Is GoDaddy blocking my IP?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 5:06 pm

If you are experiencing problems with your internet connection at home or at work, and you think GoDaddy might be blocking your IP address, there is a way to test this. The easiest way to test this is to use a virtual private network (VPN).

A VPN creates a secure tunnel between your computer and a server located elsewhere, allowing you to browse the internet as if you were located in a different country.

PRO TIP: If you are using GoDaddy as your DNS service provider, and you think your IP address may be blocked, please contact their customer support. Blocking of IP addresses is a serious matter, and should only be done by authorized personnel. If you believe your IP address has been blocked by mistake, GoDaddy’s customer support will be able to help you resolve the issue.

To test if GoDaddy is blocking your IP address, first sign up for a VPN and configure it to use your home or work IP address. Then try to visit any website that you normally visit.

If the website is not loading properly or if you are getting errors, then GoDaddy is likely blocking your IP address. If you are still experiencing problems, you can contact GoDaddy customer service and ask them to unblock your IP address.
