An elaborated article on Perspective in Photoshop:

When you create a perspective image in Photoshop, you are using a technique that was first developed in the early days of photography. Perspective drawings were used to help artists understand how objects appear to be distance from the viewer.

Today, Photoshop can help you create realistic perspective images with a few simple commands.

To create a perspective image in Photoshop, first select the area you want to affect the perspective of. To do this, first create a new document and then select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M).

Go to the Options Bar and set the Fill to Black.

Next, select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and position it so that it surrounds the area you want to affect the perspective of.

Now, press and hold the Shift key and drag the corners of the rectangle so that it becomes squished.

Release the Shift key and then select the Perspective Horizontal Scale Tool (V) from the Tools Panel. Drag the left side of the rectangle up so that it becomes narrower and taller, and then drag the right side of the rectangle down so that it becomes wider and shorter.

The Perspective Horizontal Scale Tool (V) also allows you to change the angle at which the perspective is viewed. To do this, drag the yellow dot located in the bottom-right corner of the window.

PRO TIP: The perspective grid is a powerful tool in Photoshop, but it can be tricky to use. If you’re not careful, you can end up with distorted images.

Now, select the Viewer Tool (V) from the Tools Panel and position it so that you can see the entire image.

Select the Zoom Tool (Z) from the Tools Panel and then increase or decrease the size of the image until you have the desired perspective.

To finish, press the Enter (Return) key to create the perspective image.

Now that you have created a perspective image, you can use it to create realistic 3D images. To do this, first create a new document and then select the 3D Object Tool (O).

Next, position the 3D Object Tool (O) so that it is over the area you want to affect the perspective of.

Now, press and hold the Shift key and drag the corners of the object so that it becomes squished. Drag the left side of the object up so that it becomes narrower and taller, and then drag the right side of the object down so that it becomes wider and shorter.

You can now use the perspective image to create realistic 3D images.

Now that you have created a realistic perspective image, you can use it to create 3D images.

Release the Shift key and then select the Perspective Hor.
