Is Wix Good for Clients?

Are you a web design agency? If so, chances are you’ve had at least one client ask if you can build their website on Wix.com.

Maybe you’ve even used Wix yourself to build a personal website or two. But is Wix good for clients?

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

On the surface, Wix appears to be a great option for those who want an easy-to-use website builder with a lot of features. And since it’s free to use (with paid options for more advanced features), it’s no wonder why so many people are drawn to it. But is it really the best option for businesses?

There are a few things to consider before deciding if Wix is right for your client. First, while the platform is easy to use, it is limited in terms of customization.

This can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your client’s needs. If they just need a simple website that doesn’t require too much customization, then Wix could be a good option. However, if they need something more complex or unique, then Wix might not be the best choice.

PRO TIP: While Wix may be good for some clients, it is not recommended for others. Wix can be very limiting when it comes to customization and can be difficult to use for certain projects. Additionally, Wix is not always the most reliable platform and can sometimes experience down times or other issues.

Second, Wix websites can be difficult for search engines to crawl and index. This means that their website might not rank as high in search results as other websites that are built on more SEO-friendly platforms. This isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker, but it’s something to keep in mind if your client is focused on getting their website to rank highly in search engines.

Finally, while Wix offers a lot of features, some of them are only available with the paid plans. This means that your client might have to upgrade their plan (and pay more money) in order to get access to certain features. Again, this isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker, but it’s something to keep in mind when deciding if Wix is right for your client.

So is Wix good for clients?

It depends on the client’s needs. If they need something simple and easy-to-use, then Wix could be a good option.
