What are Components in Figma?
Components in Figma are a way to group elements together so that they can be reused easily. They can be thought of as like lego blocks, which can be used to build up more complex designs. By creating components, you can save time and make your design process more efficient.
There are two types of components in Figma:
1. Frame Components: These are groups of elements that have been placed inside of a frame. You can create frame components by selecting the elements you want to group together and then choosing “Create Component” from the right-click menu.
2. Repeat Grid Components: These are components that have been created from a repeat grid.
Repeat grids are a way to quickly create multiple instances of an element, such as a list of items or a set of social media icons. To create a repeat grid component, first create a repeat grid, then select the “Create Component” option from the right-click menu.
