A dataset is a collection of data that is organized in a certain way. In Wix, datasets are used to store information that can be used in many different ways throughout your site.
You can use datasets to create dynamic pages, populate forms, send emails, filter and search data, and more. You can create datasets from scratch, or import them from external sources. Once you have created a dataset, you can use the Wix Editor to add and edit data, as well as to design how it will be displayed on your site.
1. Make sure you understand the structure of your data before you start working with it. Datasets can be a bit confusing if you’re not familiar with how they work.
2. Take advantage of the preview feature to see how your data will look in the dataset before you actually save it. This can help you avoid any surprises later on.
3. Be careful when deleting data from a dataset. Once you delete something, it’s gone for good!
4. Keep in mind that datasets are meant to be used for storing data, not for displaying it on your website. If you want to display data on your site, you’ll need to use a different tool.
