As a general overview, Summary Blocks are content blocks that you can use to display summaries of your pages, products, blog posts, events, and more. Each Summary Block includes an image, title, and short description.
You can add Summary Blocks to any page on your site.
There are two types of Summary Blocks:
- Grid: A grid of summary blocks that you can use to display a summary of your pages, products, blog posts, events, and more.
- List: A list of summary blocks that you can use to display a summary of your pages, products, blog posts, events, and more.
You can use the Grid or List layout for your Summary Blocks. To change the layout, click the Layout button in the Block Editor.
The Grid layout displays a grid of summary blocks. The List layout displays a list of summary blocks.
Customizing Summary Blocks
Once you’ve added a Summary Block to your page, you can customize it to better match your site’s design.
Change the number of columns
By default, the Grid layout displays four columns of summary blocks. You can change the number of columns in the Block Editor.
- In the Block Editor, click Layout. The number of columns appears above the Layout options.
- Click 1 Column, 2 Columns, or 3 Columns. Your changes are automatically saved.
Change the image size
By default, images in Summary Blocks are displayed at their original size. You can change the image size in the Block Editor.
- In the Block Editor, click Image Size. A drop-down menu appears.
- Click (original), (medium), or (large).
Style text with HTML tags
You can use HTML tags to style the text in your Summary Blocks. For example, you can use the <u>, <strong>, and <em> tags to underline text, make text bold, or italicize text.
