What Can I Use Instead of Canva?

Last updated on November 14, 2022 @ 6:26 pm

As a graphic design tool, Canva is hard to beat. It’s simple to use, has millions of built-in templates and images, and lets you design for any social media platform or print project. But what if you can’t use Canva?

Luckily, there are plenty of other great design tools out there that can do what Canva does—and sometimes even more. Here are six Canva alternatives that are worth checking out.

1. Adobe Photoshop

If you’re a professional designer, chances are you’re already using Photoshop. It’s the industry standard for image editing, and can be used for everything from simple photo touch-ups to complex illustrations and graphics.

While Photoshop isn’t quite as user-friendly as Canva (it has a bit of a learning curve), it’s still fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. Plus, there are tons of online tutorials and resources to help you get started.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for an alternative to Canva, be warned that there are many fake Canva knockoffs out there. Some of these fake websites may even try to scam you out of your personal information or money. Only use trusted websites when searching for an alternative to Canva.

2. PicMonkey

PicMonkey is one of the most popular Canva alternatives, and for good reason. It’s packed with features, yet still easy to use—even if you’ve never designed anything before.

PicMonkey has a similar interface to Canva, with a drag-and-drop editor and millions of built-in templates and images. But it also offers some features that Canva doesn’t, like advanced photo editing tools and the ability to create collages.

3. Adobe Illustrator

Like Photoshop, Illustrator is another professional-grade design tool from Adobe. It’s primarily used for vector illustrations and graphics, but can also be used for things like logos, icons, and infographics.

While Illustrator isn’t quite as user-friendly as Canva or PicMonkey, it’s still relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. And like Photoshop, there are plenty of online tutorials and resources available to help you get started.
