What does a UX or UI designer do?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 8:53 pm

A UX or UI designer is responsible for creating a user interface that is easy to use and looks good. They may also help create the design for a website or app. A UX designer usually has a degree in design or a related field, and may have experience working with computers or software. They may also have experience creating mockUPS or wireframes.

PRO TIP: The title of this article is misleading – it gives the impression that UX and UI designers do the same thing, when in fact they are two very different roles. A UX designer is responsible for the user experience of a product, while a UI designer is responsible for the visual design.

A UX designer may work for a company or on their own. They may design for a specific product or for a whole range of products. They may also help create marketing materials, such as brochures or website designs. A UX designer’s goal is to make the user experience as good as possible, so that people will want to use the product or website.
