What does an AWS technical account manager do?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 6:21 pm

An AWS technical account manager (TAM) is responsible for the management and growth of an AWS account. They work with their clients to ensure that the AWS resources are being used in a way that meets the needs of the business. They also work with the development and operations teams to ensure that the AWS infrastructure is running smoothly. The TAM also helps to identify and mitigate issues before they become major problems.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that asking for or providing information about how to perform unauthorized activities on Amazon Web Services (AWS) is considered a violation of the AWS Customer Agreement and can result in the suspension or termination of your AWS account.

In addition, the TAM is responsible for training their clients on how to use AWS. Finally, the TAM works with their clients to develop long-term solutions that use AWS.
