What Happens When I Unpublish Site on Weebly?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 4:42 pm

When you unpublish your Weebly site, it will no longer be visible to the public. This means that anyone who tries to visit your site will see a “Site Not Found” error.

Your site will still be accessible to you and any other logged-in users, but it will not be indexed by search engines or accessible to anyone else.

There are a few different reasons why you might want to unpublish your Weebly site. Maybe you’re not quite ready for the world to see it yet, or maybe you’re making some major changes and don’t want anyone to see the work-in-progress. Whatever the reason, unpublishing your Weebly site is a simple process.

PRO TIP: If you unpublish your Weebly site, it will no longer be visible to the public. Your site will be taken offline and will only be accessible to you and any other collaborators you have invited. Any changes you make will not be visible to anyone else until you republish your site.

To unpublish your Weebly site, just log in and go to the Settings tab. Under the “General” section, you’ll see a button that says “Unpublish Site.”

Click that button and confirm that you want to unpublish your site. Once you do, your site will no longer be visible to the public.

Of course, if you change your mind later on, you can always republish your site by going back into the Settings tab and clicking the “Publish Site” button.

Weebly makes it easy to unpublish your site when you need to. Just log in and go to Settings > General.

Under “Site Status,” click “Unpublish Site.” Your site will no longer be visible to the public, but it will still be accessible to you and any other logged-in users. If you change your mind later on, you can always republish your site by going back into Settings and clicking “Publish Site.”
