What Happens When You Dispute on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:51 pm

If you’re a freelancer who uses Fiverr, then you know that disputes can happen. Sometimes a client may not be happy with the work you’ve delivered, or you may not be happy with the way a client has behaved. Whatever the reason, if you find yourself in a dispute with a client on Fiverr, there are some things you should know.

First and foremost, it’s important to try to resolve the issue directly with the client. If you’re able to come to an agreement, then great! But if not, then you can escalate the dispute to Fiverr’s customer support team.

PRO TIP: If you dispute a gig on Fiverr, the resolution center will open an investigation. During this time, you won’t be able to communicate with the seller. Once the investigation is complete, a decision will be made and you’ll be able to communicate with the seller again.

Fiverr’s customer support team will review the case and mediate between you and the client. They will try to help you come to an agreement, but if that’s not possible, then they may issue a refund to the client or take other action as necessary.
