What if I Pause My Gig on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:51 pm

If you’re a Fiverr seller, you may be wondering what will happen if you need to take a break from your gigs. Maybe you’re going on vacation or taking some time off for a personal emergency.

Or maybe you’re just ready to move on to other things.

Whatever the reason, pausing your gigs is easy to do and there’s no need to worry about losing your place on Fiverr. When you pause a gig, it will remain active but will not be visible to buyers. You can still edit the gig and make changes, but no one will be able to purchase it until you unpause it.

PRO TIP: If you pause your gig on Fiverr, your gig will no longer be available for purchase. All current orders will be automatically canceled and you will not be able to deliver any new orders. We recommend only pausing your gig if you are unable to deliver orders in a timely manner.

If you decide that you no longer want to offer a particular gig, you can delete it entirely. Once a gig is deleted, it can’t be recovered, so be sure that’s what you really want to do before taking this step.

Pausing or deleting your gigs will not affect your position in the Fiverr search results. However, if you take a break from Fiverr for an extended period of time, your account may become inactive. Inactive accounts are removed from the search results, so if you plan to be gone for more than a few weeks, it’s best to unpublish all of your gigs.

Conclusion:

If you need to take a break from selling on Fiverr, pausing your gigs is the best way to go. This will keep your gigs active and allow you to make changes, but buyers won’t be able to purchase them.

If you decide that you no longer want to offer a particular gig, you can delete it entirely. Just keep in mind that once a gig is deleted, it can’t be recovered.
