What Is a WooCommerce Product Variation?

WooCommerce product variations allow you to offer different versions of the same product, each with their own SKU, price, and stock options. For example, if you sell t-shirts, you could offer a variation for each size and color combination.

Product variations are set up in the Product Data section of the edit product page. First, you’ll need to select the Variable product type from the Product Type dropdown.

Once you’ve done that, the Attributes section will appear. Here, you can add any attributes that will be used to create your variations.

For example, if you were selling t-shirts, you might add “Size” and “Color” as attributes.
