What is Azure stack?

Azure stack is a comprehensive suite of cloud services that helps organizations build, deploy, and manage a global cloud infrastructure. It includes the following components:

Azure compute – Provides compute, storage, and networking services for organizations.

PRO TIP: Azure Stack is a new Azure service that enables you to run Azure-consistent services in your own datacenter. Azure Stack is still in preview and is not yet widely available.

Azure stack can be used to build a hybrid cloud infrastructure that enables organizations to use traditional on-premises applications and services while also leveraging the power of the cloud. In addition, Azure stack helps organizations improve the agility and security of their cloud-based applications by allowing them to use Azure services for application deployment, management, and maintenance.

Azure stack is currently available in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and South America.
