What Is Content Collection in Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:39 am

Content collection is a feature in Wix that allows you to gather and manage your content in one place. It’s a great way to keep your site organized and make it easy for you to find the content you need.

There are two ways to add content to your collection: manually or using an RSS feed. To add content manually, simply click the “Add Content” button and enter the URL of the content you want to add. To add an RSS feed, click the “Add RSS Feed” button and enter the URL of the RSS feed you want to add.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Once you’ve added content to your collection, you can use the “Collection” tab to manage it. Here, you can view all of the content in your collection, edit it, delete it, or add new items.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Wix, content collection is a feature that allows you to create a page or post that contains a collection of other pages or posts. This can be useful if you want to create a page that contains a list of links to other pages on your site. However, if you use this feature without understanding how it works, you could unintentionally create a page that is difficult for visitors to navigate.

The “Collection” tab is also where you can set up your collection to be displayed on your website. To do this, click the “Display on Website” button and choose how you want your collection to be displayed.

You can choose to display it as a list, a grid, or a slideshow. You can also choose how many items to display and whether or not to display thumbnails.

Content collection is a great way to keep your website organized and make it easy for visitors to find the content they’re looking for. With just a few clicks, you can add content manually or using an RSS feed, and then use the “Collection” tab to manage it all in one place.
