Access to the Google Cloud Platform APIs and tools.

Cost savings due to the lower cost of using GCP.

Localization of user applications to specific countries.

The Google Cloud Technical residency program is open to developers who are physically located in one of the following countries:

Australia

Brazil

Canada

China

France

Germany

India

Italy

Japan

Mexico

New Zealand

Norway

Russia

South Africa

South Korea

Spain

Google will verify the residency of users before granting them access to the program. A Google Cloud Technical resident is required to maintain continuous residence in one of the eligible countries, and must be able to demonstrate that their primary residence is in that country.

PRO TIP: The Google Cloud Technical residency is a 12-week intensive training program that provides you with the skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful Google Cloud Platform Engineer. While the program is free, it is important to note that it is very demanding and requires a significant time commitment.
