Lasso Tool is one of the basic tools in Photoshop used to make selections. It allows you to draw around an object or area to select it.

The Lasso Tool is located in the Photoshop Toolbox between the Rectangular Marquee Tool and the Polygonal Lasso Tool.

To use the Lasso Tool, simply click and hold down the left mouse button where you want to start drawing your selection. Then, without letting go of the mouse button, move your cursor around the object or area you want to select.

As you move your cursor, you will see a dotted line appear behind it. This dotted line is called a “marching ants” selection. When you have gone all the way around the object or area you want to select, release the mouse button.

PRO TIP: The Lasso Tool in Photoshop can be used to create a selection around an object. However, if the object is not well defined, the selection may not be accurate.

Once you have made a selection with the Lasso Tool, you can move it, copy it, or fill it with color. To do this, simply use one of the Selection Tools located in the Photoshop Toolbox.

The Lasso Tool is a very versatile tool and can be used for many different purposes. With a little practice, you will be able to use it like a pro!
