What is source file and vector file in Fiverr?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:30 pm

A source file is a file that you create yourself, and a vector file is a file that somebody else created for you. When you create a source file, you can put text, graphics, equations, and other types of information in it.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the “source file” and “vector file” options on Fiverr are two different file types. A source file is typically a project file that contains all of the assets and layers used to create a design, while a vector file is a flattened graphic that can be resized without losing quality. Make sure you know which file type the buyer is requesting before starting your work!

When you create a vector file, somebody else creates the graphics for you, based on the information you include in the source file.
