What Is the Shortcut to Delete a Layer in Photoshop?

There is no one-click button to delete a layer in Photoshop, but there are a few ways to do it quickly. The first way is to right-click on the layer in the Layers panel and select “Delete Layer” from the menu.

You can also delete a layer by dragging it to the trash can icon at the bottom of the Layers panel. Finally, you can select the layer you want to delete and press the delete key on your keyboard.

All of these methods will delete the selected layer from your Photoshop document. Be careful when deleting layers, as you cannot undo this action. If you accidentally delete a layer, you can use the History panel to revert to a previous state.
